Error Messages
We’ve been battling some wild and crazy error messages at work, but the error message I got while attempting to pay my phone bill online today takes the top spot:
Message from the NSAPI plugin: Cannot open TEMP file '/tmp/_wl_proxy/_post__19981_24579' for POST of 2807 bytes Build date/time: Oct 4 2003 18:00:57 Change Number: 291942
Based on my conversation with the support staff, this means “You need to reset your password.” Sure enough, after changing my password, the error went away and I was able to pay my bill. Please help me lead a worldwide effort to rid ourselves of bad error messages. They eat away at our lives :-)

Comments
It’s common knowledge that the NSAPI plugin v291942 gives this output for password related issues.
I know you’re on vacation, but come on … kick it into gear :-)
V-Dubb,
You’re right — given my prolonged exposure to FURL, you’d think that I’d have known that!

What do you expect? The last build was in 2003, so you know its up to date!
Love the site man. I’m also a huge fan of fat knots. was doing some searching on the interwebs to see what kind of tie / shirt would be best. Looks like the consensus is to use the spread collar with either steve harvey or trump tie. excellent! keep the fat knots comin! -Rob
haha I am a web developer. I came across this error on one of my sites today. In trying to debug it, google lead me to this site. The error has nothing to do with your password btw, but I’m glad support was able to help you.
