Got this image from Reggie Riser. He knows he needs to work on rocking a fatter knot, but he’s got the Seer Sucker suit down. Keep rocking the seer, Reggie. Alabama Player Style.
My wife and I attended Benefitfocus.com’s “Second Seven Launch Party” at the end of September. Things have been busy recently, so I’m just now publishing photos from the event. It was a great party in Charleston,
SC. They even had biscuits there. I like to rock a little mustard on my biscuits.

This week, in addition to sporting Fat Knot #20, I “Rocked The Seer” for the first time to Westminster Presbyterian Church. I had planned to debut it last week in Beaufort,
SC, but some things came up at the last minute and we were not able to make the trip. If you didn’t know, Beaufort is like the Seer capital of the world. All of the low country players rock the seer. In fact, I don’t think you can become a low country player without one. (You’re issued one when you pass Low Country Player 101)
I believe Jos. A. Bank is running a sale on Seer Suckers this week in honor of the Fourth of July. I think they’ve got them for $99 … check the website to be sure. (I thought they had them for $250 at one time… seems like a pretty good deal on a high quality seer sucker.) I think I also saw some at K&G Fashion Superstore (in Greenville,
SC) last time I was in there.
No new fat knot this Sunday….
BUT I do have a new suit to rock!
This Sunday I rocked the Poplin to
Westminster Presbyterian Church. It was approved by
F. Hugh Atkins (fellow choir member and tenor) and several others. I also completed my acquisition of a seer sucker suit. I’m going to try to coordinate with Hugh one Sunday so we can rock the seer on the same day. My wife and I are also planning a trip to Beaufort,
SC soon to visit with her family. There are a
TON of die hard southern players down there. So, I’ll be sure to take the Seer Sucker!
